Forget sour mixes and low-quality whiskeys. A classic Whiskey Sour recipe made with good whiskey, fresh lemon juice, egg white and simple syrup.
- In a cocktail shaker add simple syrup, lemon juice, egg white and Bourbon.
- Shake,without ice. That’s right no ice. This will create an emulsion.
- Add ice to the shaker, shake again and strain into a low-ball glass.
- Add a splash of grenadine.
- Garnish your cocktail with a Maraschino cherry and orange slice in order to get the full effect.
